What Walgreens did you find that has the h1n1 vaccine?   Do they have the shot?

My DH and I are getting ours on Saturday, but the clinic we're going to was full when a friend of mine tried to make an appointment.   She's pregnant, so she really wants to get the vaccine ASAP.

She already called Butler County, and they told her they're only doing residents.   She can't do the Warren Clinic because it's flu mist only and she needs the shot.   The Norwood clinic is full.  The Cincy health clinic for pregnant women is full.    Those are the ones she has tried.   I told her I'd keep an eye out for any other openings, since I feel a little guilty that I'm able to get it on Saturday and she's not (we have a baby who's in daycare, so I don't want to give up our slots either).

Re: **abpdjs**

  • hhmm, I called the Norwood Walgreens who said they don't take scheduled appointments just walk ins.  The number I called was 866-825-3227.

That makes me curious why they would tell you it is full if they don't take appointments?

  • Oh, it wasn't Norwood Walgreens that told her it was full, it was the Norwood Health Dept.   They're having a clinic on Saturday for the high risk groups only and they were taking appointments.   They're completely booked now.

i am taking him to Norwood Walgreens after I pick him up from school today, wish me luck!

congrats on your weight loss btw, that is awesome!Big Smile

  • Norwood is out of the H1N1 (I called their clinic today). However, the health department told me that their clinics should be getting it next week--you can find locations on their website.

Call 357-7499, that's the health department's flu shot information line. Donny, they're doing a special clinic for pregnant women--have your friend call that number and select option 5.

We're still looking for the seasonal vaccine for DD, her pediatrician was all out yeaterday. :-/
