They are EVERYWHERE! I had my windows open earlier and had to shut them because the things were crawling between the screen and the frame and getting in the house and I got sick of catching them! Is this normally what happens around this time of the year?
Re: Holy ladybugs!
It's happened at least the last couple of years. The did a segment on it on the news a couple of nights ago, though I can't remember the specific explanation.
The good news is that they're harmless.
I've noticed it the last few years. Some years are worse than others. It usually happens after it has been really cold and then warms up a lot like it did this past week.
They are harmless but they can be really annoying.
A friend of mine always has to deal with an invasion of them this time of year.
Fortunately, I haven't had this problem. However, a few days ago DH saw a ton of them on our (exterior) door. By the time I got home, the temp had dropped and there wre a bunch of them dead on the ground.
