Finally! A Married Bio!!
Gross. I work right near there and have been a couple of times for an after-work bite. Now, I might never go back.
ew.
I had only been there once before (I go to school up the block) and I have to say that I don't know what the big attaction is, I didn't think the food was good at all and the cheesecake was only okay.
I agree with Bonnie - these guys are EVERYWHERE! I heard this on 1010 wins and was like "seriously?? this is newsworthy?? that's like broadcasting that they found a *cheesecake* at Juniors! of COURSE there are mice!"
Two stories to gross you out....
DH and I were at the Rosa Mexicana near Lincoln Square with some OOT family of his. I saw a mouse running around through people's legs across the room. No one that was on that side of the restaurant saw it. I pointed him out to the waiter so they could shoo him away before someone spotted a mouse by their feet and started screaming, but they didn't do anything about it. It finally found it's way back to the wall and scurried out of there unseen by anyone else, but it was definitely interesting to watch!
Second story - I used to work at an Italian restaurant in LI. We had mice in our basement - we would find the poop but never the mice. One day, I was waiting on a table and noticed a DEAD mouse underneath the table - where the people were sitting!! I couldn't very well say "excuse me, can you move your feet? there is a dead mouse under your table that I need to remove." So I just crossed my fingers that they wouldn't notice it, and they didn't. A few days later, my friend was opening the restaurant and found a dead mouse ON a table. We have no idea why the mice finally decided to come up stairs and why they were all of a sudden dropping dead in random places.
Seriously, mice are in EVERY eating establishment in the city. If you avoided every place with mice you would be eating at home all the time. I think mice are cute, actually - it's the roaches that gross me out!
