Re: medical providers in the McKinney/Frisco Area

  • I use Dr. Jennifer Allen of North Central Women's Health (office is located across the street from Medical Center of Mckinney).   For more information, check out their website http://www.ncwhp.com/

Dr. Allen is very down to earth and friendly.  She takes the time to answer your questions.  The office staff is very friendly and responsive.

  • I typically lurk here, but Meredith McEntire is AMAZING...

Actually, the whole staff is amazing.  Good luck!

  • I used to go to Dr. Halderman where the first poster posted.  My experience with her and her office was "meh" I felt more like a number and didn't want to go through a pregnancy with her.  My neighbor however goes to Dr. Allen and she likes her

I currently have an appt scheduled with Dr. Petrovski at the office the second poster posted about for next week.  I've heard nothing but great things about them, they let me come by, look around and ask questions, I like that they have u/s on premises and its not an old machine and its not only once a week when they do u/s.  I'm picky when it comes to OBs and I had several people refer me to this office.  I considered Dr. McEntire, but she's going to be on vacation when I need to come in.

  • I see Dr. Biederman at Frisco Eye associates. They are very friendly and super nice and knowledgeable. The dentist office I go to is pretty close to Frisco Eye Associates, but I forget the name cause I just started going there. They were soooooo NICE! and my hygienist was great too!

I know someone that has gone to Frisco OB and trained with a doctor that was their high risk referral and seemed to get the vibe that they overreact. The person that I knew was sent to the hospital 4 times during her pregnancy, 1 of which was for high blood pressure, they took her pressure 1 time and then didnt retake it again just automatically sent her to the hospital. The high risk that i trained with also gave me the idea that they overreacted  to these situations.
