Weekend plans?

Re: Weekend plans?

  • Going to Michigan tomorrow with my mom for my cousin's bridal shower. Sunday probably working at home.

  • Having some people over tomorrow to watch a couple football games -- mostly as an excuse to try out some new fun recipes.  Sunday we are pulling the boat out of the water for the winter.  Nothing too major this weekend.
  • Nothing exciting; I have a garage to clean out before DH comes home from deployment...otherwise sleeping in and playing with my dogs.

  • Tonight - Date w/ the Hubs - Out to PF Changs, then probably out for some drinks.

Tomorrow - supposed to rain...boo.  I wanted to do a haunted thing, maybe Eastern State Penn, so we'll see.

Sunday - Football, cleaning, laundry, cooking (my womanly duties ;-) )

Also have to sqeeze the gym in this weekend... Gotta lose these pounds. Super Angry

  • Tonight: Hubs is working overnight.  I have a hair appt this evening.

Tomorrow: I may have to work in the am.  Probably meeting with realtors in the PM.

At some point in the weekend I have some yardwork to get done too.  Big. Huge. Fun. Weekend...especially when you add in that the hubs is pissed off that he's got to deploy.

  • Tonight: Mike is working overnight too (stupid duty!). We're dog sitting this weekend, so I'll pick up our friends' dog and head home. The idea of spending my evening cuddled on the couch and catching up on DVR'd shows is really appealing!

Tomorrow: Gym 8:00am, workout in the park 10am, house work, late lunch with friends, going to a friend's dance competition, friends over for a pumpkin carving contest

Sunday: SLEEPING IN!! Dog beach with Chaz, cooking/baking for my girl date at my house at 4:00.

  • Super boring weekend here. My DH also has to work overnight tonight (and Saturday night.) I will probably clean the whole house tonight.

Tomorrow I have to start working on my half of a group project about monopolies. Yayyy. . .

Sunday we are going to dinner at my parents house.

  • tonight: dinner and a concert with Kev

saturday: buying pumpkins and watching baseball with Kevs parents, maybe out afterward.

sunday: outdoor run or some sort of fall activity, then regular sunday stuff - grocery shopping, laundry, etc.

  • My number one priority for the weekend is to re-write the introduction for my second year project.  I met with my advisor on Wednesday and he wants me to a) make the study longitudinal and b) include atypical kids.  That is like 746% more work for me to do, since I was almost done with the original write up.

But Saturday we're helping a friend move, then we have a Halloween party to go to in the evening.

Sunday DH couches all day and watches football, which is usually a great time for me to get schoolwork done.  But I have a friend whose cat just got run over and she wants to get together, which would be the right thing to do.

  • Tonight - girls night: dinner and Hunk-o-mania. I'm nervous.

Tomorrow - running around to find costumes for me and DH for a friend's Halloween party tomorrow night.

Sunday - laundry and DVR catchup

We're going to the State Fair!  Hellllloooooo deep fried oreos. And all the other bad stuff.

  • Tonight is date night with DH. We're still undecided as to where we want to go. After that, I have a friend having a house party for her bday (which we will probably stop by), a bunch of ppl I studied abroad with in Spain are getting together tonight in downtown Boston, so I'll probably stop by there too. And then tomorrow is homecoming, so a ton of friends are in town for that and want to meet up tonight too...bottom line, I feel like tonight is going to be a long night of drinking and probably going to bed at like 4am.

Saturday is the first Saturday since the wedding I've had off, so I feel like I should make the most of it. I am still pretty undecided in plans. I might go to homecoming. I am definitely bringing my brother out to celebrate his 21st bday which was last Monday.

Sunday=playing flag football in the morning, then watching football all day, probably a bunch of laundry, and I MUSTTTTTT clean my bathroom.

  • No idea aside from grading and homework. Boring.

  • I went on the best date ever last night! With myself. LOL.

I had a dermatologist appointment and after that, I went to Ulta, went to Barnes & Noble (my Heaven), then I sat up at the bar at Carrabba's and had some wine, read my awesome book and got take-out for dinner. It was so relaxing and nice to be able to have some thoughts to myself!

No real plans for the rest of the weekend, but I am going to try to get some concrete plots/characters/ideas going for this NaNo thing. Mames-how was girls night?

  • Today: Headed back home for my sister's bridal shower (that's right - our weddings are 5 months apart). Then, tonight, dinner and maybe Paranormal Activity with my husband. Anyone seen that? Any good?

Tomorrow: I'm a teacher, so I'm pretty much going to be working at home all day. It's my first year and I am ALWAYS playing catch up!!
