Hey girls! I had a super busy week with my BFF having her baby on Monday night. She labored all day long and then had the baby at 11:34 pm Monday. The baby had swallowed too much fluid so she was taken away immediately for special care, and she is still at the special care nursery. Luckily Emerson Hospital allows for the parents to board at the hospital until the baby can go home. So I have been going to see my BFF and the new baby every day ...plus I have her dog. Ha ha ha. It has been a busy week!
DH and I are heading to NJ for a wedding this weekend. What is everyone else up to?

Oh my! Is the baby recovering okay? What a scary way to come into the world.
I'm looking forward to a weekend of relaxing with DH. We have a ton of DVR to catch up on I think a rainy Saturday is the perfect opportunity.
She will be okay. She is still on oxygen and an IV for now, but they said that in a few days she should be okay. Her body just needs to get rid of all that fluid. It was pretty scary.
I am jealous of your relaxing weekend!

Tomorrow my mom and I are going to a craft show at the Shriner's auditorium in Wilmington. We've gone every year since I was little
I think tomorrow night DH and I will be hanging out with one of our favorite couple friends who we haven't seen in a couple months, which is long for us! Haha
Sunday nothing is planned.. just clean up the house probably :-)

DH is on nights tonight & tomorrow, so tonight I'm going bowling with a bunch of girlfriends. Tomorrow the doggy and I are both getting our nails done hahaha! I'll drop him off at the "spa" for a bath & nail clip and head to the salon myself for a mani & pedi. Then I just want to go to a coffee shop and read for a few hours. Tomorrow night having dinner with a few high school friends. Sunday afternoon DH and I are going to see Where the Wild Things Are.

Tonight DH is taking me to a restaurant called Salts for my birthday (it's on Monday). They're supposed to have great duck...mmm, duck!
Tomorrow my family is coming over and we're going to carve pumpkins and go out with them for my birthday as well (Japanese, yum again!).
Sunday DH and I are playing volleyball in the evening and maybe going down to RI to see the jack-o-lantern display at the zoo down there afterwards (10,000 carved pumpkins!).
DH took Monday off too to hang out with me on my actual birthday

So glad it's Friday!!! It's been such a busy week. I know it's busy when I look at the clock, it's almost 5 and I have had no Nest time.
DH and I are escaping to our favorite B&B this weekend. I can't wait! Also leaving work at noon which makes me happy!
Oh wow! that's scary for your friend but I'm glad the baby is doing well!
We don't have much planned- just finishing up tiling our first floor... DH is leaving for almost 2 weeks for work so we're going to be doing lots of laundry and organizing!

Tonight I'm going to bake some pumpkin muffins as DH has been requesting them. A friend of his is visiting for dinner (out) and staying over so that they can hit the road early tomorrow to go visit firends out of state. For me, the weekend will include the typical errands and chorse, along with putting together my Halloween costume, and house hunting (yay!!!)
Good thoughts for the baby!
Tomorrow we have to go to Burlington to get a GC at the Apple store for my brother's birthday. Then go to a garden nursery to see if they have anything left for shrubs (which is probably a no) and to get an idea for pricing to get a credit from the builder. Then meet with the builder to go over stuff in the house to see if anything needs to be fixed/changed. Then go to Home Depot to get the last of the stuff we need for the house (like blinds/shades) and finally meet up with my family for dinner to celebrate my brother's birthday.
Sunday we have grocery shopping, the football game, and packing up the remaining stuff in our apartment.
Oh my gosh, I hope the baby's ok soon!
Today I took off from work for a doctor's appointment for my back. Still ended up doing work most of the morning.
Tomorrow we have a wine tasting and a party for DH's softball team end of the season
Sunday I now have an MRI and then football!
