update about the pups...

They are doing great.  I picked them up from the ER vet and took them to the regular vet who will keep them overnight tonight to continue the IV fluids.  The biggest concern is that they will have kidney failure or stomach ulcers.  To help prevent this they are giving them lots of IV fluids and previcid to coat their tummies.  We will have to do some repeat bloodwork to check their kidney function.  But for now they look great and that is fantastic news!

Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts.  It is nice to have your shoulders to cry on...now I just need a nap and a drink!

That's funny!  My MIL (who went with me to get the pups) wanted to stop at Burger King and get the burgers after we picked them up from the ER vet and were on our way to the regular vet.  I said no...not good for their bellies right now.  But I do have puppy ice cream in the freezer.....Stick out tongue
