Wedding Photographers (and a chance to AW)
Who was your wedding photographer?
What did you think of them? (the good, the bad and the ugly)
Do they have a website? (if so please post it here)
Did you think they were reasonably priced?
Feel free to include your favorite picture from your wedding day too and any other information you can think of!!
A friend is getting married next year and she is overwhelmed with the choices out there. I figured I'd turn to some experienced nesties to get their take. I didn't get married around here. My photographer also sucked (and is no longer taking pictures..) and it makes me sad, so I want to make sure my friend gets great photos!! Thank you!!

Who was your wedding photographer? Katie- owner of Captured by Kate
What did you think of them? (the good, the bad and the ugly) I thought she was wonderful. She really enjoys her job, doesnt make it like a photo shoot, is very reliable, is very good at communicating with you both before and after, listens to everything you want, and is very creative with poses/shots.
Do they have a website? (if so please post it here) www.capturedbykatephoto.net and actually... we just did a rock the dress session which was just posted on her blog (www.capturedbykate.wordpress.com) and our wedding pics are on there too.
Did you think they were reasonably priced? REALLY reasonably priced. we got an engagement session, all day coverage (which turned out to be 10 hours for us), an online album for guests to view, and all rights to both engagement and wedding pictures plus each on a personalized thumb drive for $500. plus, they were great quality photos!
Who was your wedding photographer? Agnes (owner) with Neusse Photography
What did you think of them? (the good, the bad and the ugly) I loved Agnes, she was wonderful to work with before, during, and after the wedding. She will do my pictures forever!
Do they have a website? www.neussephotography.com
Did you think they were reasonably priced? Very reasonable, and I also received full copyrights to all my pictures
Feel free to include your favorite picture from your wedding day too and any other information you can think of!! My slideshow: http://neussegallery.com/Kia.html
We used Rita and Joel Wiebner
Loved them! We had checked out a ton of wedding photographers over the years of being engaged and weren't really impressed or if we liked the pictures, we didn't like the photographer. We lked Rita and Joel as soon as we met them. They were very laid back. Rita is the one that is the organizer,,,sets shots. is more photojournalistic while Joel is more whimsical and loves to do candids. Best of both worlds IMO.

They are also on FB
They are a bit on the higher end I'm told. that said, I think you get what you pay for. I believe they will also work out a payment plan to be paid in installments prior and leading up to the event.
We have no qualms to work with them again. I've actually contacted them to do a trash the dress shoot. Dh is not very comfortable in front of the camera and he was very much at ease with them. Our only problem is we're in TX now, so we can have as much done as we'd like. They will travel, though as long as you pay for travel expenses.
