Today was a very good day.... Started last night when I finally got some. LOL. Then I woke up this morning and looked at my beautiful baby and was sooo happy. :-)
Then DH drove me downtown to go to a class where they show you how to wear and bf in different kinds of baby slings.... Moby, Maya, New Native, Baby K-Tan, Ergo. Then you could try them all on and try different positions and the teacher would help you. It was GREAT!
Since Zizzo and some others had recommended the Moby, I was eager to try that one... I LOVED IT! Very comfortable and secure once you figured out how to wrap it. The long fabric is a bit of a pain tho. Has anyone BF-ed in it? Also, what colors do you gals have? I am thinking black...... I also really liked the Maya ring wrap and for when she is bigger, the Ergo.
I am officially "obsessed" with baby slings. Hahaha.
After the class, we drove to our old 'hood in DC and had lunch at one of our old haunts. And for my gift, Alexa slept through lunch so I could enjoy my meal and a glass of wine! We then had gelato and she started to cry, so we went to the car so I could give her some "sugar." As I was doing so, DH ran to do an errand and came back with flowers. :-)
We are now home and relaxing... Off to NJ tomorrow! Great day!
