Anyone have recs for an online printing service?

I've never used them but I've heard terrible things about the quality at Vistaprints.  I've come across the sites www.psprint.com and www.overnightprints.com that seem to have better reviews.  Does anyone have any experience with any of these or similar sites to recommend?  For printing good quality postcards and flatcards.

Re: Anyone have recs for an online printing service?

  • We've only printed business cards using overnightprints but as far as cardstock quality, we liked it better than Vistaprint.  It feels thicker.  I believe that they use the same cardstock for the postcards and flatcards as they do for the business cards.  Their matte finish is also much nicer than Vistaprint's.  John got gloss finish on both sides of his cards and sometimes they slip and slide all over the place if a stack gets nudged from the side or mishandled.  Stick out tongue  A few of our cards were missing the gloss finish on one side so that's how I got to see their matte finish but I actually prefer the matte over gloss.

We had issues with our business cards being inconsistently cropped but they were willing to replace the bad ones with new ones when we brought up the issue to customer service.  I know someone else who uses them on a regular basis and I don't think she's ever had a problem so maybe our issue was just a fluke?

  • I used vistaprint for my STDs (postcards) and thought the quality was really good.  But they did get pretty beat up in the mail from what I saw.  I used psprint for my TY cards and they were really nice, too.  I'd recommend either.  Depends on how you want to customize.  I would check out their templates to see if they work for you.
