We're as unpacked as we're going to be for a while. After discovering that the kitchen has no drawers (SERIOUSLY!), we will be renovating ASAP! Hopefully this will not take too long. I am cooking tonight for the first time.
We've discovered a lot of other things that we want to chamge right away too, but its all cosmetic. The good news is the boiler does in fact work. So we don't have to replace it right away. We know that it's on it's last leg, so do we replace it now or wait till it actually goes out. Ahh the decisions of a homeowner!

Re: It's all ours
The first of many, my dear. And WTF is up with no kitchen drawers?
But Congrats! And post pics when you can.
oooooh congratulations!!!! It's so nice moving into the first place you buy, such a feeling of permanence!
I totally feel you on the lack of drawers. The condo we were in had one half of a drawer. It wasn't even big enough for a utensil holder, so we had all of our silverware in a caddy on the counter. Totally sucked.
Start putting money aside now and replace it when it goes out. That's what I should have done when our A/C went out last winter.
Enjoy getting settled in and making the space yours! We want more pics!
