Pumpkin / Pumpkin Kiss Cookie Recipe
Hi ladies......I lost my recipe for those delicious pumkin cookies that we talk about every year. Could someone post the recipe or send me a link? TIA!
Re: Pumpkin / Pumpkin Kiss Cookie Recipe
This is Denise's pumpkin kiss recipe. I hope she doesn't mind me posting, but this is how I saved her recipe.
Pumpkin chocolate chip cookies with icing (I got this from Christina originally)
Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margerine, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 can (15 ounces) 100% pure pumpkin
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375. Grease baking sheets. Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl. Beat butter and granulated sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy. Beat in pumpkin, eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 15 ? 20 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. (the nestie I got the recipe from only baked hers for about 13 minutes but I baked mine for about 17). Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely. Spread or drizzle with vanilla glaze (see below).
Vanilla Glaze:
Combine 1 Cup powdered suger, 1 and 1/2 Tbsp milk, and 1/2 Tbsp vanilla extract in a small bowl; mix well.
I also found this recipe, bought the kisses, yet haven't tried it yet.

Great minds think alike, that is the same recipe that I linked to in my post.
I don't mind
We were in Mexico for vacation last week. Hopefully life will slow down soon so I can get a chance to make a batch!
I hope you had a great trip!
