So quiet today...
Where is everyone? Having a busy Monday? Everyone have a nice weekend? Pumpkin picking maybe, or worked on your halloween costume...
My weekend kinda sucked monkey butt. Blowout with ILs, fight with DH, mini-meltdown, blech, blech, blech. But I ran away to my BFF's house on Sunday and that made me feel much much better, and I'm on a more even keel today.
But still, how 'bout posting a picture of either:
a) some man candy
b) some stomach candy
or c) bonus points - both in the same picture
to cheer me up a little?

I had a great weekend except that I broke out in hives. I have no idea why since I've been avoiding all the foods I'm not supposed to be eating, haven't changed soaps or laundry detergents... They're still bugging me! Other than that, things are fine.
Why yes, I did work on DH's costume on the weekend! (Spock shirt), and bought a wig to go with my 50's outfit.
We also got a confirmation from the immig. office that they received all of our stuff. Phew!
Sorry your weekend sucked... Hope you and DH made up?
Yeah, the fight was not so much between DH and I. Just basically my own personal meltdown which has come from living with my ILs and spending almost 24/7 in their house for the past three months. It's really not a great situation. I need to get a J-O-B.

When Rob & I moved back to Denve ast year our corporate huosing ran out 2 months before our house was in livable condition and we had to live w/ my parents. I think I cried every day, it's rough to be in someone elses space.

Oh, you know I can never resist a post about man candy. ***sigh*** I'm so predictable.
. Reading up on everyone's blahs lately, I have to wonder if something is in the air. I had to work this past weekend, which blows, but whatever. Add to that, DH and I were grinchy with each other all weekend. Yet he also wanted to be "let's do everything together", and I wanted to be left alone (esp considering I sacrificed one of my weekend days to work). But you can't tell them you don't want to hang out b/c they get offended or something. 
. We made all friendly Sunday night, though.

WOW, thismakes me feel so much better.
I generally get along well with my ILs, particularly my MIL, but they are both strong, strong personalities and I am more of a quiet person. The backstory is basically right before we came back from our 6 months in Greece DH's teaching position got cut in half, as did his salary. So I have been trying to find a job ever since we got back, although his p/t teaching is in Boston, I am looking for a job in NYC (for what I do the job market is MUCH better there), and in the interim we are living kinda in between at his parents' in Connecticut. (He's gone 3 days/2 nights a week in Boston when it's just me and the ILs.) We can't afford to move until I find something, especially since he is only at half-salary.
Also, even though I'm not 100% in love with the ZQ, I love that you guys love him. (Is that weird?) I think it's so cute that there's a shared embracing of an unconventional heartthrob.

As for ZQ, I think the geek factor (us and his) is a common denominator for a lot of us (well, at least for me, gotta love me a good geek). Kshiz - we need to find the name of blue eyes stat. And where is everyone else's man candy, hmmmm?????

I just finished watching it on Hulu! For some reason though, Heroes is always really dark and kind of hard to see. I tried tweaking with my monitor settings but nothing seems to work. When I watch it on tv, it's fine. It's just when I watch it online, it's super dark. Because of that, I was not able to see Sylar/Matt in all of his glory at the very beginning of the episode, boo!
The whole Claire/sorority chick/AND possible lesbian relationship thing is meh to me too. I mean, come on, seriously?
I was hoping to see more Hiro. I'm really liking his storyline right now! Maybe next week, along with more Sylar hotness in a better lighted setting, lol.
Also, I would like to point out, that I just this second realized that it is in fact TUESDAY, and not Monday. Sure feels like it.
I have that same issue when watching Hulu on my laptop. The only time it seems ok is if I'm watching at night in the dark. Boo - you missed some serious, shirtless Sylar (although his chest hair is really.....odd). I'd PIP some of the screen captures I've seen online, but then my monitor my steam up.
Sounds like next episode has lots of Hiro and Charlie is back 
. Hiro is DH's fav character. Yatta!
Does it help any, then, that you'll be jumping from Monday to Wednesday soon?
