Recommend your roofer

We've had a leak in our roof now for two years that we've had the same guy "fixing." Obviously, we're paying him to fix things that aren't the problem because it keeps leaking in the same spot. Anyone know any good, affordable roofers in the nky area?

Thanks!

Re: Recommend your roofer

  • We use Kanga Roof. They are out of Amelia but I am sure they go to NKY. We use them at home and we have also used them a few times at work, they do a good job and their pricing is competitive. I know they were underbid by a few hundred dollars to replace our corporate office roof but they matched the price and had it done pretty quickly.

  • OMG, we have the same problem!  (only we're in Dayton).  I've been trying to get the stinking leak fixed for two years and two companies have failed.  I don't have any roofer recs but I would ask the roofer for references and check those references.  Our last guy was the owner of a larger company, member of the BBB, etc but he couldn't fix our leak and acted like a big jerk when we asked him to do more.  He gave us a list of references but I didn't check them since he had a good BBB record.  Lesson learned I guess!

  • One of the best things we did was sign up for Angie's List. We have hired a couple of people from the site and all of them have been good. You have to pay, but for us it was worth it. None of the reviews are anonymous. We have been really happy with the them.
  • We used Bone Dry Roofing, which got great reviews on Angie's List.  They came out after the wind storm and did a great job.  The leak that we had is now fixed, thankfully!
