Which Garmin Nuvi do you recommend?

There are WAY too many models to pick from.

Re: Which Garmin Nuvi do you recommend?

  • I have a Garmin 265WT - got it for refurbished on Amazon for around $165 a few months ago. Lifetime free traffic, Bluetooth, says the street names. DH used it out on business in other states, I use it for business around Florida - reacts very quickly in recalculating if you miss a turn or want to go a different route. Even my technologically challenged mom has used it a few times and didn't even have to call me for help!

  • Mine is from Costco - might also be a 265WT.  I was under $200 but I don't know the exact amount as it was a gift.  I LOVE it!  Definitely recommend getting the 4.3" screen and one that speaks streetnames.  Miine also has traffic updates which is a nice feature as well.  I think it has bluetooth but I haven't used that feature.  It does a great job at quickly recalulating routes.  Has other nice options as well, like storing photos.

  • Oh, meant to mention to that mine case with a carrying case which is really necessary to protect it when storing in car or purse.  I am not sure if this was a "costco special" or if they all do.
