Pie in the Sky

Has anyone purchased pies from this program before?

Re: Pie in the Sky

  • Never heard of it but it seems pretty cool.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • I saw this last year, but the timing of the pie delivery didn't work out for me, so I didn't purchase from them. It seems like a neat idea though.

  • I have for the last 4 years.  I always get apple and the pies are great.  I actually volunteered for a day at Community Servings a couple of years ago and I was VERY impressed with the people there.  They run a tight ship and the quality of the food that they serve to the people in their program is very good.  They also employ a lot of people that need help getting back on their feet.  You are not only getting a yummy pie but you're helping out a great program.
  • BTW, thanks for posting this. I almost forgot to order my pie - just did :).  Even if you don't need a pie, you can order a pie for one of the Community Servings clients to make sure they get a pie for Thanksgiving Smile
  • I'm so glad you've had personal experience with them Bride0603, it's nice to know they actually do a good service! Sometimes you never know what these charities actually do, I think I'll order from them for sure now..
