Crossing to the other side..

So I decided to come over here now since this seems like the next appropriate step.  Although I am still addicted to The Knot and looking at wedding stuff (I wanna do it over again!!).  I saw some post's about starting a book club, I think thats a fantastic idea and I would certainly join in.  So, just wanted to say hello to anybody I have never talked to before and hello to the ladies from over on The Knot!

  • Do you? I love Brookfield, we actually just moved here last March from New Milford, so I've been familiar with the area.  I still work in New Milford, so I'm here alot and DH's kids go to NM schools, but we lay our heads in Brookfield.  We are renting a condo and looking to buy soon, there isn't much in our price range in Brookfield, so Danbury is looking like a better option but I'm a little weary about moving to Danbury..I'm probably just stereotyping it, so I'm trying to get over it!!  Where do you like to go in Brookfield? Often times, we take the kids to the park at the town hall, its really nice, ever been?  We also love going to Osaka and Pancho's!
  • Hey welcome!  I was the one who suggested the book club, I just started a new book today that looks hilarious!  Its called "I hope they serve beer in hell" - have you read any good books lately?  I'm trying to get back in to reading since I don't have a wedding to plan anymore!

That is supposed to be a good read (although moderately offensive!) I'm with you - trying to read now that the wedding is over! Just one problem though - the wedding left us broke - so I can't buy the books I"d like to!! HAHAH!

  • I just read The Adultery Diet, I loved it. I also just finished reading My Horizontal Life by Chelsea Handler, I LOVE her.  If you don't like her, don't read the book, you might be offended! LOL. Does anyone here ever follow Oprah's book club?  I get her magazine and she always has good books to recommend.
