Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

BOO!!
My DH just got a new job and will be in Napa for training on our anniversary! 
I am planning on thawing out the top part of our cake to celebrate a few days before but I am thinking about maybe making a cd with our wedding song on it and maybe a sappy card or something. Any ideas? We are expecting a baby about a month after our anniversary so spending more than maybe a few dollars is just out of the question. Any one else forced to spend their 1st anniversary apart?

DH works shift work and we both have to work on our anniversary. He will be working noon til midnight and then I have to work 7am-4pm...so I won't see him at all. We are celebrating this weekend....but I will send him a card or something in his lunch.
I hate to hear you DH will be out of town. I think the CD sounds like a wonderful idea. If you know how many days he will be gone, you can send a card a day...use the sappy one for the anniversary.
And if there is any way you could, you could slip a pice of cake in with his luggage and yall could eat it together over the phone while talking!
