Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

A little worried....
My group got bought by another company... There's 41 of us in this group. So far, they are saying that everything will remain the same. We'll be going to work at the same place for awhile. We 'should' be paid about the same. And we all get to keep our jobs.
But it's sort of scary at the same time. Surely, the new company will make cuts at some point in time. Maybe not in the next few months but maybe next year? Gosh, I've been at my company for the past 8+ years. I haven't had a need to update my resume or even interview.
I love my current company and I really hate to go... but I guess most of the people I know will be going to the new company so I guess I won't have to miss the people... Sorry I'm going on a rant but this 'deal' has me really nervous. Thanks for reading.

I know what you mean - I've been with my company a little longer than you have, but I would be scared too. But I guess it depends on why they bought your group - if they just needed your capability because they didn't have it, maybe they won't downsize at all. But it does sound like there are many variables they haven't finalized yet.
