I haven't been on for a few days because I have been super busy!
Thursday afternoon, we closed on our house (yay), and we started packing up everything in the apartment.
We moved on Saturday, and got everything moved in (not unpacked though - we're still far from being unpacked). We do not have enough furniture for a house, so it feels a little empty, but we'll add pieces here and there.
We moved in on Halloween, ran to the store and bought a bag of candy, that had 105 pieces in it. We thought this would be plenty. We were late, and started handing out candy at about 6:30. We ran out of candy an hour later - and we were only handing out one piece/kid. Hopefully we didn't look like the cheap neighbors who don't feel like participating. We probably could have used another 105 piece bag.
We have some project to do around the house, David and his dad are doing some work on the switches and plugs in the bathroom right now, and next weekend we will begin the nursery. We've got a big ole list to work on, but it's going to be fun, I think.
Anyway, that's my update. ![]()
Hope everyone had a good weekend!
