Aw, thanks! It was wonderful. Baby Gavin and I got spoiled with many wonderful and thoughful gifts. He's going to be one stylin' kiddo!
My mom's best friend and her daughter both had the day before the shower off work and spent it cooking meals for us. They lugged about 2 weeks worth of dinners up for us!
Let me tell you, I was a whole new kind of tired after. I slept for 11 hours, got up, ate and went back to bed immediately. I was so tired I even had the shakes. Phew!

I saw your ticker today and you're at 30 weeks, yay!!! congrats on making it this far through bed rest and all!!
I'm glad to hear you got spoiled - it's needed from time to time! I know what you mean about being tired after! geezzz lol
Now you can relax knowing you got food for you and everthing else for Gavin + you're 30 weeks along!!
Enjoy all the washing and packing and re-arranging the same item 5 times over...lol

Holy moly about your mom's friend and daughter making all those meals, that was so nice of them. That must have taken them so much time too! Will definitely make your life easier in the coming weeks.
I bet you were tired after. I'm always wiped going out doing something after I've been home for a few days, I can just imagine with you having been stuck at home for so long. It must have been lovely to see everyone and celebrate your little one. Yay baby
