Ok, I know it's a little silly, but we have sooo many new "faces" here, so I thought maybe we can get to know them and they can get to know us.

My name is Bonnie and I'm 32 years old. I work part time in Nursing Administration at a hospital. I'm married to my wonderful hubby Joseph of almost 2 years. We live in SI, but currently have our house on the market (hoping to move to NJ). We have 4 wonderful kitties (Mickey, Minnie, Cinderella and Belle)...they are our children until we have human ones of our own. hehe I love to do cake decorating (when the opportunity arises). I also love Nesting when I'm online. My life is pretty simple and I like it that way. This is pretty much me in a nutshell.

My name is Meghan and as you can see from my ticker i'm almost 30.
I have mixed feelings about that. 
My husband, Jeff, and i just celebrated our 1yr anniversary and we live in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. (he's 36! soooooooo old!) I'm an unhappy receptionist for a hedge fund in Midtown with dreams of someday figuring out what i want to be when i grow up; a dance teacher, a film/tv AD, a nurse, a yarn store owner, a lottery winner... DH works at NYU's Dental School in their facilities dept. We don't have pets yet (our landlord won't let us), but we want them! And we're in negotiations for kids.

Hi, I'm Liz, and I'm a Nestie.
I work as a freelance photo assistant for a still life studio in Union Square. (I love it!!) I've been married to my husband, Ricky, for 2+ years. He works as a Systems Admin for a hedge fund in midtown. We live in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We have one adorable rabbit named Butters (Mr. Jersey Buttersworth to all new acquaintances!) and a boston terrier named Sydney. I have a wonderful little website/profile link in my siggy if you want to see more photos and info. We are currently expecting (due end of March) our first baby. I like cooking, photography, being eco/organic as much as possible, being crafty, creative, planning parties, reading, movies, and occasionally playing video games (a side effect of marrying a nerdy boy!)

I don't really have any hobbies or anything, I like to bake and read, and I usually start projects like crocheting, knitting or quilting and give up on them quickly cuz I get bored. I watch WAY too much reality tv and spend too much time on the computer.
I'm Danielle, I'm 29 and I am an attorney. I no longer work in private practice full time, though (still do of-counsel work) - I just started a job as the associate director of the academic support program in my law school this semester. In my spare time, I am a professional bellydancer, and also training to become a yoga instructor. I live in Queens with my hubby of 2 years and our two kitties, Murphy and Sydney. No human kids yet, but we have finally agreed to start trying.
I love all things dance, traveling, animals (I'm a vegetarian), and I, too, am obsessed with Twilight (Hadassah, do you ever go on the Twilight board on the Nest? Cuz you should!!!). I already have my ticket for the midnight showing of New Moon. :-)

P.S. Hadassah, I'm so sorry about your loss! I had a cat for almost 17 years that I lost a few years back. Pets become like family members. I too miss her (even with 4 more). =/

I'm Yuliya, I'm 25. Just celebrated my second wedding anniversary with the hubby. We have a cute little 13-month old kiddo, Sasha. I'm a SAHM (quit shortly after Sasha was born) and I'm enjoying it so far. No pets (we can't agree on one: I love little yorkies, DH says small dogs are rats with fur - yeah, he's mean, lol). I love watching figure skating and I'm slightly obsessed with Dancing with the Stars...

My name is Jennifer (Jen) and I work in the Education Department at a non-profit Broadway theatre company. I love my work, but with the economic downturn it has become incredibly stressful lately. Just to add to the madness, I applied for and was accepted into the Coro Leadership New York program, which is a yearlong program that explores issues of public policy in New York City. I have also been doing a lot of volunteer marketing for an arts in education organization that I am a member of.
I went to undergrad and grad school in NYC and lived in Brooklyn for 5 years before we moved to NJ last year. I just couldn?t leave the NYC board; the NJ board is too busy for me. ;-) I have been married to my awesome hubby for two years (yesterday was our anniversary). He is a freelance graphic designer, but works fulltime in the IT department at a major publishing corporation. Besides seeing a ton of theatre for work, we love to travel, cook and entertain. We recently became vegetarians. I love to read and watch crappy TV shows. We have a turtle named Murdock who is 3 years old.
I'm Shelby! I'm a relatively new NYCer, DH and I just moved here in August. (Before that we were in Boston, and before that Ohio, and before that Los Angeles.)
I work in marketing for a social-networking site. I work mostly from home and love it.
DH works for a large nonprofit in midtown, on their corporate strategy team (he just graduated from business school). We live in Greenwich Village / West Village (I am never sure which to call it, hehe) and love it here!
No human kids and none in the works yet. We have one fabulous kitty, Emmy (see sig). I've also been getting involved in rescue here, and we have a fabulous foster kitty too (see other side of sig) but I am afraid we might become "foster failures." Hehe.
Hobbies - I run a lot. I'm running the marathon on Sunday - cheer for me if you're going to be out there!! I also love cooking, eating, and wine.

Hi, I'm Carrie and I'm 32 years old. My husband and I have been married for a little over 2 years. I am a teaching artist and am in grad school for Applied Theatre. My husband is a pastry chef for two restaurants in NYC.
I don't have many hobbies right now because I don't really have time but I love to read when I can, travel, eat new foods, knit scarves, walk in new neighborhoods, peek into people's homes when they leave their window's open at night (happens a lot in my neighborhood. and no, it's not creepy. i just look from the sidewalk. i am fascinated by how other people live.), go to the theatre, movies and museums.
No pets (I'm allergic) and no children yet. We'll start trying next year.
That's enough about me, I suppose.
I'm Amy. I am some age older than 19, been married for 3+ years, and teach math and statistics at a public HS here in the city. No kids, no plants, no pets. The H and I have known each other since we were teenagers and have been together for a decade (give or take a year or two for a break-up). I don't really have hobbies any more. I do love music, dancing, taking photographs, travel, and watching Project Runway. Right now H and I are getting through The Wire on DVD and loving every minute of it (I can't believe we missed this when it was on TV).

My name is Vanessa; I am 33 yrs old. DH Leo (he's only 30, I like 'em young!) and I have been married since March; we were married in my hometown, Orlando FL! I am a fashion designer by trade but I have been out of work since July (I was laid off). There is a link to my online portfolios in my Nest bio. I've had some really great interviews but so far no offers yet. Leo is a consultant for Accenture; he's been here his entire professional life.
DH has a cat Korky who has thumbs. He is very cute but definitely my step-cat (we have a tenuous relationship esp since I'm home more often now, lol!). No kids on the radar for another 5 yrs or so.
We love to travel, esp to beach destinations! We were planning a trip to Paris and Amsterdam for the holidays before those plans got sidetracked with me getting laid off. I hope to resume the planning for Spring 2010 if a job materializes by the end of the year!
Lately with all this time off I have been doing a lot of cooking. The up side of unemployment is that it's given me a chance to brush up on my domestic goddess skills! I also love to read, have an obsession with makeup (I'm on the Fashion&Beauty board a LOT), and love good food.

I am Kenia, 28 years old. Raised in the Bx. I am in the Travel/Hotel industry. DH is 28 years old and raised in Brooklyn,He is a Pastry Chef. We met in College (Upstate NY) 10 years ago and dated for 8 years before we got married in May of 2008. I dragged him to the Bx, although like every true Brooklynite he still reps his borough...lol. We have a little doggie, Rhozy. She is a Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix. We are not thinking about kids right now. I enjoy going out with friends for drinks and entertaining at home.I like reading a lot but usually tend to fall asleep on the train when I do...lol. I love watching TV (a little too much) DVR is my bestfriend....lol. Think that is it for now :-)
I'm Ashley, and I'm a nighttime poster (usually while DH is watching sports...) because I teach 7th grade here in Manhattan and can't do this during the daytime! I'm 31 (seriously, I just typed 29 and then thought..."wait, that's not my age!" YIKES!) and have been married only 3 months, although we've been together for 6 years tomorrow. We live in Chelsea and like to do a lot of wandering around on our days off.
We don't have kids or pets, and no plans to have any soon. We'd love to have dogs, but I want big dogs, goldens specifically, and that wouldn't work well in our tiny little apartment.
