XP: PCP and OB/GYN recs on Westside

Hello Ladies,

I have not posted in FOREVER, but I have been lurking recently. My insurance just changed due to a new job, and now I have to find all new doctors, as my previous providers are no longer covered.

Can you recommend your PCP and OB/GYN on the westside or in the Clifton areas? I work in Clifton in the old Jewish hospital, and live in Delhi. Thanks!

  • My whole family goes to the GCAP office in White Oak on Cheviot Rd.  My mom & I usually see Dr. Duell for our gyn stuff, my dad uses Dr. Rath most of the time.  I really like the doctors (so much so that I still don't have a regular doctor in dayton!) but the staff can be so-so at times.  It would probably be a pain to get there from Delhi though (but like I said, I drive down from Dayton so who am I to talk!)

  • I go to GCAP also, but my office is considered Monfort Heights, also on Cheviot Rd. I see Dr. Mattingly.

For my OB, I see Dr. Sosnowski at one of his many offices in Springdale.

Check out this link for other suggestions that was asked a few weeks ago.

  • I go to Women Partners in ObGyn. It's on Harrison Ave right off of 74. I was just there this morning! They are a practice of three women and I love it.

  • I just noticed you also asked for PCP-

In the same building with the Women Partners ObGyn is The Family Medical Group. If you're familiar with the area- the building is right next to the Meijer and Kohls....the facility also has Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.

Anyway, I've never been to this practice but I had planned on making an appt there soon.... DH and I still don't have doctors in the area and we've lived there for almost 2 years!.

  • LOVE Dr. Sarah Sabin with 7 Hills Womens Center.  It is in the medical office building that is part of Mercy Western hills (St. Francis St. George).  There are several doctors in that practice, and at least two women, if that matters to you.  Good luck!

  • Thanks everyone! I will be looking into all your suggestions!! My insurance has awesome coverage, but the provider list could fit onto a single page... the many perks of working for the Health Alliance :)

I go to the Family Medical Group and I am a fan. I go to their Glenway office. They also offer annual gyno checks within their office.  Since we are not planning on having kids for a while it works out great for me since I can use the same doctor as my PCP and GYN.
