AW: I can't believe that I did this....
I don't normally post like this but I am pretty proud of myself.
I managed to complete a 5 km charity run on Saturday while pushing DS in his stroller. The weather was crappy and I really only "ran" for about 3.75 km in total but I managed the first 2 km without stopping.
I know that it doesn't sound like much but even when I'm not pregnant I am not that good of a runner, and it made it much easier to indulge in a few Hallowe'en candies that evening
Re: AW: I can't believe that I did this....
wow good for you, Heather! Running 5km with a stroller while 33 weeks pregnant is definitely an accomplishment!
Maybe after mat leave you can join the lunchtime running crew?
I normally go running before work, I have only been out twice at lunch, those guys leave me in the dust LOL.
That's fantastic! And I can't believe you did that 33 wks pg!
Great job.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Way to go Heather!!!
I am super impressed, especially considering how unimpressed I am these days when the escalator at the subway is out and I have to take the stairs - I can't imagine voluntarily running in a race like that, with a pregnant belly and a stroller to boot. You should be very proud!
