    It is like Platinum Weddings with babies!  It is all about super rich people spending a ton of money on their nurseries and baby showers.  In the promo it says something about spending $40,000 on a baby shower!  I have to watch because for some reason I am fascinated by people who spend a ridiculous amount of money on stuff they really don't need to.

    Good lord. Why is this entertaining to some people? It just makes me cringe. $40k can pay for a year of undergrad and housing at BC. Why spend that on a 2 hour party? Ridic. 

     

    ETA- I'm not criticizing you if you find it entertaining, it just makes me cringe- not only for practicality reasons, but for the same reason that Platinum Weddings does. There is so much severe poverty in this world and people sh!t through their money for their status symbol.

    Oh I totally agree with you Punky.  I guess that is what fascinates me....how someone can literally just toss out that kind of money when it is so needless.  I always think to myself when I see shows like that "If I were that rich is there is no way I could justify spending so much money on this or that."

    That's just gross. I thought it was bad enough that people spent $100,000 on centerpieces that were going to die the day after their wedding but people spoiling their children before they're even born is just disgusting. I agree that it is one of those can't-look-away shows though and I'll probably watch it anyway :)
