I saw in the post below that you're a partial season ticket holder for the Phillies. DH and I are thinking of doing this for next season... do you get preference for playoff and World Series tickets, too, or not?

Re: * Schmoopiekins *

  • In late July/early August you get a thing in the mail asking if you want to opt for playoff tickets. if your full season you obviously get "your" seats, but partial you go into a lottery but get them all at face value. If you do it you have to go all the way, NLDS, NLCS, & WS, you cant just pick one. You get tickets for as many seats as your package has (we have 4). We got 200 level for the NLDS and 300 levels for the last two series, but great rows (8 & 1). It was about 1200 for 4 people each getting a ticket at one of the series games (45, 85, 155)-worth every penny.

This is my hubs and brother's 3rd year doing the 17 game package. We were thinking of cutting back and doing a Sunday package, 10 games, or just going to a few games ourselves (it does get expensive and 17 games is a lot) but the playoffs this year has us rethinking and doing the full package again next year. it is really awesme and so much fun.

  • Thanks for the info. That's what I was hoping for...
