Okay, so, since it's November I can finally post about what I think has to be the STRANGEST Thanksgiving tradition: giving a Presidential Pardon to one Turkey.
What crime, exactly, are we pardoning this turkey from? From simply being a turkey?
I also find it weird that the turkey then gets to live at Disneyland and/or Disney World. Like, really? I'm sure that was that one turkey's dream: to have the president say "no one can eat you this year" and then to move to Florida.
Does anyone else find this as strange as I do?

This! The things we do for cheap entertainment never ceases to amaze me. Although, I imagine that this somehow amounts to a pretty hefty price tag. Geesh...
