My daughter spent 6 hours in the jolly jumper today. ?She would bounce in place, she would bounce forward and pick up her feet and swing back, she basically bounced until she needed to eat and then would cry until she got to bounce again. If you were within reach of the jolly jumper she would bounce to get you and kiss your leg. ?At one point I noticed that she was quiet, ?she was barely awake and still trying to bounce. ?So I took her out of it ( legs still kicking a bit) and she crashed. ?She slept for half an hour but it was?definitely?a power nap cause when she woke up she drank two bottles (she was VERY thirsty) ?and then bounced until it was time to go home. ?She was asleep before we got out of the driveway. ?We had to make a stop at the bank and she woke up for that because she likes the bank machine BUT she passed out again almost as soon as she was back in the car seat. ?
When we got home all she wanted to do was sit on the couch beside me and watch tv. ?I made her stay up till bedtime and made sure she at her supper but when she went to bed she was falling asleep on my shoulder on the walk up the stairs.
I just keep thinking, ?her calves are gonna be sore tomorrow! But man was she having fun today!
