Christmas!
So I hit up Target and the Tanger outlets tonight (in Lancaster) and expected the Christmas stuff to be out at Target, but didn't expect the whole store to be decorated already! Then I went to the outlets to look for a birthday gift for my mother and found that 3/4 of the stores I went into were playing Christmas music!!! I totally get putting out your merchandise so people can get a jump on their shopping, but do we need to be playing Christmas music already? Those poor people who work there, that's a full 2 months of nothing but Christmas music and I love many of the songs, but there is a limited number and I think I would go insane!

Re: Christmas!
I couldn't agree with you more! I saw a Wal-Mart Christmas commercial tonight on TV and wanted to scream. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I hate that it gets lost in the shuffle. I do start shopping early but everything else gets put on hold until Black Friday.
I have such mixed feelings about it. Usually I would be saying that it is way too early, but this year I feel like Christmas is going to be on the back-burner with the arrival of our LO... so in a way, I'm soaking up that Christmas feeling now when I run errands since I doubt I'll be doing much of that in December! I have no idea how we're going to do our usual Christmas prep this year!
