  • Hmmm. I confess I have been alternating working hard with nesting all morning long.

    I confess that my achilles tendon is sore ... AGAIN! GRRR. I think I need to take all week off running and just do walking, eliptical, weights and try not to go crazy. It's super annoying because I have been running fewer miles since my half marathon. I have NOT been overtraining, and suddenly I have a sore achilles again.

    I confess that I want something tasty and sweet. I have been snacking on carrots all morning, because they are all I have left at work. I would really like to go get dairy queen or a peice of pie. MMMM.

  • I confess that i have had WAY to much candy! It is everywhere at work. We've had it since the beginning of OCT. I wish it would just disappear! & I don't want to help it disappear. other then that ive been doing pretty good with eating... we dont eat exactly "healthy", but i eat healthy snacks, and smaller portions i think. I have lost 3lbs, lol. woo...

    I also havent been running as much as I want. I ran Sunday & Tuesday, thats it.=(  I ran 3.6 sunday and 4 miles Tuesday, I want to get in more miles then that in a week. I am going to run today hopefully i'll get 4 miles in, my knee started killing me at 3.8miles on tuesday =(  ... i already have bursitis in my L knee, i dont need it in my R knee. Argh!

    Uhm I have been nesting and house shopping all day- i'm not getting crap done at work..shhhhh

  • Yup, I've also been busy eating lots of halloween candy. I truly don't worry too much about what I eat - other than trying to eat at least some fresh produce every day. If I don't - I just don't feel as good. Oh - and I always get my 3-a-day of dairy.

    Good luck with the knee, and don't increase your mileage too fast. I know it's tempting to do 3 miles, then 4, then 5 and run everyday. BUT, you could very well end up injuring something if you put on more miles than your body can adjust too. I'm so bummed that I can't run ..... grrrr.

    I ran 3 miles for about 3.5 weeks, i didnt try to increase or anything. Sunday was my first increase to 3.6... probably not the smartest, but i was just running and i wanted to see how far i could go, lol... and then tuesday i just wanted to do 4...so ill probably stick with 4 for awhile. i should be doing a training plan, but i'm bad at that kind of stuff... i'll probably regret it in the end.. i just need to be able to run a half by March.I want to sign up for a half thats at one of H and I's favorite beach areas. ...

  • I'm starting to get really stressed about being able to tie up everything at work before I go out on maternity leave.  Things just keep getting busier around here which cuts into the time I really need to organize my office and get a plan together for my boss to step in during my leave.  At the same time, I really want to go out on 12/24 instead of 12/31 but, what the heck wll I do at home for over 2 weeks before my due date?  Plus, I'd rather have that time with my baby after he arrives, rather than alone beforehand.

    I have my annual work review next Friday and have nothing to present to my boss about goals for the upcoming year (which he always asks for).  I'll be out for 6 months so, how can I plan goals for when I get back not even knowing what I'll find when I return?  Grrr..

    My hips are killing me!  Standing or walking too much hurts, sitting too long hurts, laying down too long hurts.  I'm just sore all the time.
