If you don't mind.
Soooo, I have this friend. She had a baby about a year ago. And for the most part, I adore her. However, she prides herself on being the most laid back person ever. Which is great for her blood pressure I suppose but sometimes I think she is a little too laid back about things. This theory was proven true by the conversation that we had this morning. Behold...
Disclaimer: Proper exaggerations have been executed where necessary.
Friend: When's your next dr's appt?
Shoe: Next week. And then I have my GD test at the appt after that. I'm a little nervous about it. I mean, my blood pressure has been fine but you know, it's just not something I want to have to deal with.
Friend: Ugh! I just don't understand why people get so worked up about that! I wasn't nervous at all. I mean, the worst that happens is that you have to change your diet and eat a little better.
Shoe: [rolling eyes] Um, well that's not exactly the worst that could happen. It can cause a lot of complications later on for both of us.
Friend: Well, I just wouldn't stress about it. It is SO not a big deal.
Shoe: I need to go...
And this is why I prefer to have virtual friends.
