OMG DH just....
told me that we are going to Hawaii!!!!! Surprise, early Christmas gift. We'll be going Dec 3-8 flying standby thru DH's job and all we can't really go during the actual holiday(but WHO CARES). I can't believe it. I am beyond excited. We weren't supposed to be going again til Easter. Now I have to come up with something really good to get him. I swear I have the best hubby. Now, what to pack????

Lucky lady! I am so jealous! I have no idea when we'll be getting back to the islands.
What I wanna know is this...how do you keep your LO's going for that 10 hour flight? It's a killer!

We are really lucky, all of our kids are just really good travellers. Well, by air anyway. For some reason they can't sit for more than 5 minutes in the car without having a meltdown about it taking forever and we're never gonna get there but they can sit on a plane for 10 hours no prob. We let them stay up til they pass out the night before that way when we get on the plane at the crack of dawn they are still super tired and sleep for most of it. Plus our portable DVD player, multiple trips to the tiny restroom and hours of I Spy make for happy kiddie travellers!
