I have been so sick for the last 3 days and have barely moved out of bed. Driving DS to daycare this morning almost killed me. Has anyone else gotten the actual virus yet?
Re: I think I have h1n1
I hope you don't have it!
I haven't got it (and fingers crossed I wno't for the next week or so while I wait for my vaccine to kick in) but I had a really crappy cold back in October. No fun at all.
Rest up and take care of yourself, hopefully it passes soon and the rest of your family doesn't get sick.
I'm reasonably sure my son and husband had it. On the same day they both suddenly got sick- wicked phlegmy cough, high high high fevers. I don't know what other symptoms my son had, as I couldn't ask him, but my husband had all of them- sore throat, headache, body ache, chills and sweats. Neither of them had a runny nose or sneezing or anything that is more symptomatic of a cold. My son was better within a week and my husband took about 10~ish days. Somehow I didn't catch it.
They definitely seemed to have some kind of flu and I've been told there aren't really any other flus circling right now so odds are they did.
I hope you feel better soon... and remember, if you have it, then you're worry-free for the rest of this "pandemic"! Once it was clear that there were no serious effects on my family I was quite glad to have it over with.
