As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Need Ideas: gift for 11 yo girl

My niece is turning 11 next week & I have no idea what to get her.

They're the ones that just moved to Iowa. I know I could just send $$ or a gift card & she'd be happy, but I'd like to send an actual gift.

Any ideas?

Apparently the only think she asked for is a bit out of my price range: a Nintendo DS.

    Is she getting a DS? You could send her a game for the DS. I also think that arts and crafts go over really well at that age. Micheals and JoAnns should be gearing up for Christmas and will have lots of fun craft sets.

    I like to give unusual things, because i am weird like that. Maybe look around etsy for a necklace or something

    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
    My nice is in the 5th grade and I was just asking my mom for suggestions.  She loves to read and she loves crafty things.  If she is getting a Nintendo you could get her a little case/sleeve type thing or some accessories.
