Re: Monday already?
Weekend was pretty good.
Friday we went to a wedding. David spend the night at my IL's house. Here DH and I thought we'd leave the wedding at a fairly decent hour, to maybe go home and watch a movie together or meet up with some friends. Instead, we ended up babysitting my sister's drunk ass boyfriend. Needless to say, I was annoyed. We got home after midnight, and were both mentally exhausted and went to sleep.
Saturday and Sunday we cleaned the house. (it was really bad).
Our weekend was good! We enjoyed the warm weather Chicago had and spent as much time outside as we could. Stayed home and rested on Fri night. Then on Sat we ran some errands, bathed and groomed Toby, played outside with Declan, then went out to dinner. On Sun we ran some more errands, bought Declan his highchair, went to a cute little park and walked around for a bit, then came home and watched football.
Sat night we were supposed to go out to dinner with my parents. I called them Sat morning to see where they wanted to go and they decided to ditch me! I was so mad all day because they were supposed to take me out for my b-day and my own parents ditched me! Anyway I'm over it now and had a good weekend with my little family.
My weekend was good. Friday night we hung out at the house after MH got in from the woods (I was freaking out around 6:15 because he wasn't home yet and had texted me at 2 to say he was on his way out of the woods - he was fine, he just didn't leave when he thought he was going to - I was ready to start a search party).
Saturday was my nephew's 6th birthday party. Then my sister had a cookout that night. I drank too much and was not feeling great on Sunday but I survived. Sunday we did absolutely nothing.
My weekend was awesome and I totally enjoyed the beautiful weather we had in Chicago!
Saturday we ran a whole bunch of errands that we have been wanting to get done and we planned on going home and being productive. Well, that didn't happen but it was still a nice relaxing evening.
Sunday we went to the Zoo all day and it was fun and pretty darn packed. The weather was sooo nice though so I didn't care about the crowd.
Too funny! We thought about going to the zoo but decided it would be too packed!
Haha..that's funny! The parking lot was packed to the back. The only part that sucked was that the dolphins are getting a new pool so we couldn't see them.
Morning, I decided this weekend that I'd had enough of laying on the couch, we took Cate to the zoo on Saturday, she had a melt down half way through and we left (the joy's of a 19 month old). We took a quick trip to BRU to see if we could find a bed rail to convert Cate's crib into a toddler bed and then we went home and I rested until Cate and I left to see the Wiggles. She had a blast, her little friend and her mom joined us and it was worth every penny to see the girls dance their little hearts out. They got to meet one of the Wiggles, Murray as he came up to admire their dancing, at least that's what we told them, they stood and stared like they were star struck.
Sunday we didn't do a thing, I needed to rest as I came back to work today (I hurt and it's not even 10AM yet, the sitting kills me), we ended up going to the IL's for dinner.
No kidding re: it being Monday already.
I'm pretty cranky this morning, but the weekend was okay. I went to my neighbor's Miche party Friday night, which was odd. Unlike any other "home party" I'd been to, but I got a few things I'd wanted. Then we caught up on a little TV.
Saturday we didn't get as much accomplished as I'd have liked, but we enjoyed Rent. (MH liked it, but said he probably wouldn't see it again and officially convinced me I'm married to an old man. He said the music was too loud. LOL)
Sunday we definitely didn't get much done as I was feeling horrible. I'm feeling somewhat better today, but just exhausted. We did manage to go grocery shopping, though, and get some stuff prepped for this week (breakfasts and a soup that I'll have for lunches most of the week.)
Hi girls! I am bummed it's Monday already!
I had a good weekend. Friday night I went to my parents house for alittle bit then i picked up my friend and we went to dinner. Saturday I went for a long walk with my BFF. Then went to lunch and for pedicures with my sister. Then at night I went to the movies and dinner with MH.
Sunday- MH and I went shopping and I picked out a purse and wallet for my birthday. Then we came home and he watched the football games and I did laundry and cleaned alittle and caught up on my DVR.
Morning...I'm at work, finally. I hate taking a week+ off. I feel lost when I get back.
Saturday I left the house for the first time. I installed Windows 7 on my mom's computer (nightmare) and went jeans shopping. Then Mike and I went to a brewery and had pizza and beer for dinner.
Sunday we did a Costco run and I finally bought a new shredder so I spent the afternoon catching up on my shredding. Then I repainted my nails (dark blue). It was a very exciting weekend.
