Re: Since there was no post on Friday...
I'm happy to report that I actually had a laid back and boring weekend. Its been chaos for us lately, so this was a good change. Still was mainly spent working around the house (ah, the joys of selling), but the urgency is gone...and thats a good thing.
Saturday I spent a gorgeous fall day washing windows at our house. Had been putting it off for eons, and that day there were no excuses as the weather was perfect.
Sunday I had to myself as DH had to work all day and night. I cleaned up leaves in the front yard in the morning and then spent the afternoon enjoying some down time. Even went for a nice long walk.

Friday I took off work to go with DH to his grandmother's funeral. Had lunch after and did a quick mall stop. Lounged around the rest of the day.
Saturday I did some things around the apartment and made baked ziti. DH and I had a movie date planned but we ended up not going because we're 78 and were too tired.
Sunday was a big laundry day. I made two pumpkin pies (my first!) and visited my grandmother.

Friday night I had plans to go out, but I got home and was exhausted and not feeling that great so I wanted Pulp Fiction and fell asleep at around 11. Saturday I did some errands during the day and then worked at the club at night.
Sunday morning I got up bright and early and played in a alumni field hockey game which was pretty interesting. I got home from that and just hung around and watched football for the rest of the afternoon. I am sore as hell this morning.
I am pretty sure I am getting a headcold or something. I haven't felt right since Friday.

Nothing too exciting. Saturday night we went to an appetizer/pot-luck party for my friend's birthday. She made this AMAZING philo-wrapped brie with almonds and herbs. I would eat it every meal, every day if I wouldn't be 8 gazillion pounds afterwards.
Yesterday was spent doing school stuff and lesson planning. I'm getting observed by the director of my program in one of my classes today. Eeeep!
Mamie I am impressed with your cooking and baking! ; )
Saturday I went to a Jay-Z concert with Jr and 2 of my friends. After the concert we had a few drinks and of course we had to make a stop at in-n-out before getting home.
Sunday was a lazy day, we just did some chores and watched The Orphan dvd.

Friday- I came home and took a really long nap before meeting a bunch of friends for dinner & a comedy show for a friend's birthday. DH was at a different dinner with different friends, but I picked him up and we went to the bar until too late.
Saturday- slept in, did homework, cleaned the house up a bit, caught up on Tivo, etc. Went out for drinks and came back to our house to play games with 2 other couples.
Sunday- went to church, hung out with DH, took a nice long walk around our town (it was gorgeous and unseasonably warm out!), did more homework. Some friends stopped by but I wasn't in the mood to see them, then once they (finally) left, we watched Amazing Race.
Hawki, my team lost too. We weren't undefeated but it for sure put us out of national championship hopes.
However... my nfl team is undefeated!!
Anyway, my weekend was pretty lazy. Saturday I sat around and watched said college football loss, then saw a movie, which I LOVED - Coco Avant Chanel. Audrey Tatou = amazing. And I feel like my life's mission now is to own something Chanel.
Sunday, I sat around again and watched said NFL win! I also baked Banoffee pie, which was AMAZING. Best thing I've ever made. I also made a really good wild rice and mushroom soup that I saw on a blog recently.
Friday night I spent eating a fancy dinner and staying in a $500+ per night hotel room by myself. This was a gift from my boss for doing so well recently, and unfortunately, because of the nature of Mike's job, he found out at the last minute that he was "on restriction" for the weekend (along with 35 out of 43 of his classmates, for the most assanine reason you can imagine). So while I was in the most amazing setting, I wasn't able to fully enjoy it because I was there alone.
Saturday, I left the hotel (after another extravagant meal with my boss, coworker, and both of their spouses -- total 5th wheel situation!) and drove down to visit Mike. We got to hang out in the parking lot of where he is living for 3 hours. After I left him, I continued the trek home and stopped at a friends house where my dog was staying only to find that he'd pooped and peed (separate occasions) on their carpet. I still say they neglected him and didn't take him potty because he'd never do that unless he was desparate. Needless to say, even though they were having a party, we didn't stay long.
Sunday, I went to the gym and worked out, then met a group of friends for brunch at a new place. After that I went home and hung with my pooch, and started watching the first season of Big Love on HBO on Demand. I am now addicted to that show! I have no idea how many seasons their are, but it's my new guilty pleasure.
My weekend was boring.
Friday - I went to my old high schools football game with my parents. They won and are going to the playoffs this year. Yay. My sister came home with me from there and stayed all weekend.
Saturday - I ran to work to pick up my wallet which I thought I had lost. Then, I did absolutely nothing.
Sunday - My parents came to pick my sister up, and I cooked lunch for all of us. Stuffed peppers, mashed potatoes, corn, homemade/not homemade bread (that's what my sister calls it, it is frozen from a bag, but sooo good). They went home, and I did laundry.
