How was everyone's weekend? Any plans for today/tonight?
We had a good weekend. Friday night, C, Sarah and I went to Costco in Lake Elsinore. We had dinner out front first. We kept breaking up the hot dog for Sarah to eat but she wanted to eat it like us - in the bun! She wound up eating THE WHOLE THING!! Our little 22 pound Sarah pigged out! I LOVE that Costco! It's not much further from our house than the on on McKinley in Corona and there was hardly anyone there! We stocked up and made it home by about 7:30pm. We just hung out that night and I made the signs for the garage sale.
Saturday, we were all up early for the garage sale! We got it set up pretty fast! It helped that the clothes were sorted! We just dumped them in boxes and put signs on them for the size they were. We had 1 woman offer us $20 for all 11 boxes of clothes! We countered with $40 and she got ticked and offered us $25. When we said NO she got mad and left. We wanted to sell the stuff but we weren't going to just give it away! We finished up at noon and got everything cleaned up and packed away in our cars right away. Chris and I took 2 carloads to Goodwill for donation.
Saturday night, Chris and I went to a wine tasting party that a Jr League friend hosted. It was a lot of fun and we got to taste a bunch of great and different wines!
Yesterday, C took mom to the airport at 4:30am for 6am flight. Once he got home and we all woke up we had a nice breakfast then I took Sarah shopping. We hit Target, Starbucks, BRU and Petco. By the time I got home, mom had called and wasn't able to get on any of the morning flights and the rest of them were all overbooked. Sarah and I got back in the car and we drove out to pick her up. Hopefully she'll make the 4pm flight today and will be home tonight. We LOVE having her here but she's missing home. So last night I made a yummy and easy chicken and rice dish then once we got Sarah to bed we watched the 2012 special on SyFy. Kinda scary!
Nothing planned for tonight. Just hang out and maybe catch up on some Tivo. I've got to finish up my Jr League newsletter but that's almost done...just have to put in the pictures.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Re: Happy Monday!
The weekend was good, not great but good. Friday night my headache was finally starting to go away so I cooked an awesome meal for dinner. I went all out. I haven't done that in a long while. The rest of the weekend consisted of mostly me reading and dh played xbox since he still wasn't feeling that well.
Tonight- I have to clean. With both of us being sick last week the apt looks like a war zone.
Had the YS on Saturday (great success!) then took a cookie decorating class with katdcliff- LOTS of fun!!! We can't wait to make a huge batch of cookies--- I even went to Michaels on Sunday and bought cookie cutters of all Christmas varieties and stuff I need to pipe frosting!
Sunday was relaxing, shopping and hanging out with some family to celebrate my 30th bday and grandpa's 81st bday!
Yummy Chinese food and good conversation
Then I fell asleep from a Chinese food coma and woke up at 7 this morning, lol!
Tonight I have a Pampered Chef meeting- time to learn what to do with my leftover turkey!!!
Let me know if you want recipes!
