Where to buy nice men's shaving supplies?
H would like a nice razor and shaving brush for Christmas. Not an electric razor, but a nice straight razor or double edged safety razor. And a real boar bristle brush. The only ones I've found in the stores are synthetic. Any ideas on where to go?

"Where to buy nice men's shaving supplies?" (<-- your question...)
As opposed to mean men's shaving supplies?...
Just kidding with you.
I don't think I have one of those in Portland...
I guess I can order online - I just like shopping.
Ah, thank you! We do have one of those.
It's true. His current mean razor beats him up every time. It's why he needs a nice one.
That's great. LMAO. I definitely understand this. My DH just uses disposable. What a cool gift idea (nice shaving supplies).
At Christmas, Nordstrom's sells The Art of Shaving gift sets.
H wants the same things (safety razor, badger bristle brush, nice shaving cream.) Nordstrom does carry nice brushes, but they do not have safety razors. The Art of Shaving razors are actually just really nice, heavy (expensive!) handles for Gillette heads. You'll probably have to buy the actual razor online; that's what I'm going to do.
Oh, and I nearly bought him an AoS brush and stand for our anniversary. I went to the store, picked up the items I liked and noticed there were no price tags. I knew they were pricier, but figured I'd still get out for around $120; I mean, how expensive can a little stainless stand be? Turns out, they were $130 and $120, respectively.
I was really embarrassed, but I had to have the guy cancel the transaction. I guess I'm naive, but I did not expect it to be that much!
;;)
