Just booked a weekend getaway to Kona!
We leave on Friday morning. 
Our 2nd anniversary is actually today but since it's mid-week and we're not really able to do anything special to celebrate, we decided to get away this weekend and spend 3 days on the Big Island. Yay! Big Island Candies, here we come!!

We're staying at the Royal Kona. We waited a little too long and missed out on booking a great deal at the Sheraton Keauhou but eh, we'll be out and about for most of the day so really the hotel is only gonna be used for sleeping and showering. Besides, when there's Big Island Candies, does anything else really matter?

FYI-The 39th Annual Kona Coffee Festival is going on this week. Here's a link to the schedule. Fun for even non-coffee drinkers like myself. The parade is on Saturday which is always a big hit.
