making calendars?

I want to make a calendar for my parents with photos of DD, with personalized events on it, etc.. for Christmas.

Anyone have any rec's/fave sites?

TIA!

Re: making calendars?

  • I usually use snapfish but their quality has been craptastic lately. I noticed that you can get them for an excellent price at Staples (ranges from 9.99 - 14.99 I believe). That is where I plan on getting it made.

You can also try Blacks or Shutterfly.

  • I made one like this last year from Costco for $19.95 and used a $5.00 of coupon they had online - it was awesome!

You can also put pictures in the date squares to customize it for a persons birthday/anniversary etc. We will be making them from there this year too.

  • How crafty are you and how much time do you want to spend on it? You could always do a homemade one. Alot of different companies have the calendar pre-made (spiral bound, good quality paper) and then you scrapbook the picture, message.

I use stampin up for a lot of my scrapbooking supplies www.stampinup.com

here's the link for their calendars:

  • I did it at Walmart last year.  It wasn't the greatest quality, but it wasn't terrible either.

  • I *think* you can do them at Fairview Photolab too. All their other stuff is fantastic quality.
  • I used Kodak Photo Gallery and they turned out really well, I am doing them again this year.

  • We are going to make one this year, been working on some pictures every month for a calendar.  I did see staples had them on sale and I checked out the website and they look pretty good.   I was going to go with walmart but I think I'm going to do staples instead.  www.staplescopyandprint.ca

I used Walmart last year and had nothing but problems.  I didn't even end up getting half of my order and I didn't get all of the money back either.

  • I got like 4 calendars at Michaels last year.  They are spiral bound and you can just slip a 4x6 print into each month.  I don't know how much they are regularly, as I got them on super sale.  My family really liked it.  They took out the prints and put them in a book after the year was over.
