Baton Rouge Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I've read somewhere before that it's possible to make folders for all your starred items. This would be uber helpful for me as I have 300+ starred items.
Anyone know how to do this? I've tried and tried and cannot figure it out.
Re: Google Reader question
Google Reader = best thing ever
I don't know how you read blogs without it. Basically it's a place to keep and organize all the blogs you follow. First, you need a Google account. I already had gmail so I just used that. Google is compatible with Blogger and Wordpress so all the blogs you already follow will appear in your reader. In the mornings, I just scroll through my Reader and look at all the new posts since the last time I logged on. If something is of interest to me (like a recipe), I star it. That way when I want to go back to it, I know it's in my starred file.
Did that make sense?
On google reader, at the bottom of each post, there should be something about "tags" to click on...either edit or add. If you write tags as your categories, it automatically sorts it in a folder under that name. To access them, scroll to the bottom of your subscriptions in the left side toolbar and they should look like little tags with the names next to them.
