We just found out that our health insurance will cover 50% of Lasik. I am contemplating doing it but it scares me. LOL.
Also does your vision change when you are pg? I would hate to pay for the surgery and my vision change.
Re: Lasik?
I've heard that sometimes your vision can get blurry during pg but that it returns to normal post-partum. I personally have not experienced that though.
YIKES!
I've thought about getting it, but I'm also verrrrrrry scared.
That's awesome about your insurance, though. Maybe I'd consider it more seriously if that was the case.
This is the right answer.
David's best friend's dad is a well-known eye doctor/surgeon in BR. I asked him about it, and he said that there is not enough research about it to know the long term effects (he does not perform the surgery). He said give it ten more years for all of the relative data comes back.
I say, I only have one pair of eyes, and I am not willing to risk it. I will wait on it.
On the other hand, I have known two people to have it, and they love it.
