Yup I'm in tears over here. Happy tears and sad tears. Sad for the sick dogs and for everything they have to go through. Happy and thankful for the rescue groups that save these poor animals.
On my Facebook I have something that says "I chose to adopt, not shop, stop puppy mills" I'm hoping to get the word out a little at a time!
If we didn't live in an apartment I'd love to foster rescue dogs so they don't have to be put down. My sister's dog was in a high kill shelter until a rescue got her and put her up for adoption. She is the sweetest thing and I can't imagine if she was put down. It breaks my heart.
This brought tears to my eyes. I just don't know how anyone's conscious allows them to do things like that, and to continue breeding dogs that have health problems and genetic disorders. It is so, so sad. It breaks my heart.
