Poll: Whats on your x-mas list?
I stole this from another board, but I thought it would be fun to hear what everyone is asking for this year
So whats on your list?
Since our wedding was this year, DH and I aren't getting crazy this year with gifts. My list consists of a bubble & brown casserole dish (from rachael ray); my black pearl ring (from our 1st x-mas together) resized and replated; & a couple of books (one being the Patrick Swayze memoir book).
Married 6/10/09 in Bermuda.
Re: Poll: Whats on your x-mas list?
We're doing a small Christmas exchange this year because our work is making us both take a week furlough so we're loosing an entire paycheck right before Christmas. BOOO!
Anyway, my list has a lot of books (as always), a few prints from one of my favorite artists and some DVDs. Nothing special.
I have a HUGE list because I have to give it to DH, my mom and his mom and also to my siblings and his siblings. I wanted to put a lot of options on one list so I get surprises rather than tell each person 1 or two things and know what I am getting. I just gave DH the HUGE list and told him to give somethign off this when someone asks for a gift idea for me.
Aiming for the sky this year!
1. trash can with a step pedal lid
2. slippers that are boot-like with durable soles I can go in the garage or outside when I take trash out
Two words- Livin. LARGE.
That's all I really want to.
Dh and I haven't really been exchanging gifts for the last couple of years due to finances. We still have a list for our parents though.
I asked for Norman Love Chocolates http://www.normanloveconfections.com/
Once you've had their chocolates, you'll never want another kind.
A homemade afghan from the yarn my mom bought for that purpose, but has never done it.
Hand knitted sweater for LO
Small PS camera for the diaper bag or my purse...either a Sony or Canon. The camera we have is a really good one, but it's took big to just throw in anything due to the weight and lens.
Of course I'd love some new earrings....real gold and stones. it's been quite a while since I received any jewelry and I've taken a lot that I had and never wear.. not since HS.. and got the cash for them.
I'm asking for:
nursing pjs
book light
camera case
stovetop griddle
books - fiction and maybe a slow cooker cookbook
maybe a new wii game
I asked DH for:
1/2 carat TW princess cut diamond earrings in white gold (wanted these since we started dating 6 years ago!)
new slippers and some fleeces from LLBean
Target gift card
And that's all I really want. He got me The Nutcracker tickets for the show at the Whitaker Center for my bday, so I'm a happy camper
Let's see...
- a new camera...a nice one...like a Canon Rebel or a Nikon!
- a diamond right hand ring
- a treadmill
Those are my three big ones. The practical side of me says a food processor and a Kitchen Aid stand mixer would be great to add to our kitchen...but those are not that fun!
lol at this! Isn't it sad when we get excited about the little things?
For my birthday (Friday) DH got me a Margaritaville Fiji margarita maker (which is FANFREAKINGTASTIC and the beginning of my liver failure!). This was a total surprise.
For Christmas I asked for an E-reader and I believe he's planning on getting me the Nook (the one that B&N has coming out). So excited!!!
I don't have a list. I seriously don't know what I want. I was thinking the Instyler and yes, a freaking snuggie in zebra because I want to be able to walk around covered. He says if he buys it, I have to wear it out once--NOT GONNA HAPPEN!
not even to Wal-Mart? So you can wind up on peopleofwalmart.com?
Looking at that site has become a daily ritual for Mike and I. We will not be appearing on unless we're staring at some other trainwreck. He was thinking more on the lines of watching my niece cheer at a football game, per the commercial. It's not leaving the house, ever-lol!
This year I don't think there is a whole lot I really want. DH and I are trying to scale back this year since we just bought our house. I do want though
A new digital camera
A new rug for our living room
New boots (Ugg or a knock-off)
18-200mm Nikon Lens
Ugg Boots
Book light (so I can read my books in the dark)
