Harrisburg Contractor Recs?
We need to replace our front exterior door n our house asap and are looking for a contractor to help us out. Does anyone know anyone that knows how to do this, or any local contractors that you may have used before? We called a few, but it's turning into an expensive project for us

We used EZ Siders out of Hummelstown for putting in a sliding glass door and loved them.
They're even great about letting you buy the door elsewhere (lowes, HD, etc) and they'll install it and knock $ off the price.
Our project would have cost $2800 but we bought the door on our own and it cost us $1700.
Yikes. That seems a little steep for what we're going for. We're only looking to spend around $200.
We're having some estimates done tomorrow and all of them are within the $150-$250 range, so I think we'll be good!

Sorry! That was for knocking a hole in our kitchen and having brand new doors put in. I misread your original post.
They might be able to help you out in that range if you're just replacing an existing door.

We did find someone to do it for $200 AND we got a nice 30% discount on our door, so we're happy campers.
