Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I don't think it would be wrong unless it's something you've committed to not doing. I'm going to assume you can afford it, and you haven't made some kind of deal with YH not to spend money, or spending more than $XXX would need spousal approval, etc.
If there's no valid reason other than you're supposed to be shopping for others, buy it as Val said if you like it.
I like how you think. I might show it to MH and say "Do you want to buy this for me for Christmas?" That way he has the option.
