To decorate or not...
We're going away for the week leading up to and including Christmas Day. But it's our first Christmas in our first house so I really do want to decorate with a tree but yet... wasted money? I have the ornaments and the tree skirt so I would have to buy the tree and tree stand.
Anyone experienced something similar?

If you can get stuff on sale then I would do a bit of decorating. I am not sure I would put up a tree though. If you are doing artificial I would probably wait and get one for cheap after Christmas.
Where are you guys going?
We're going to Mexico with my parents from the 19th to the 26th.
I got these great tall Christmas vases last year, maybe I'll get some of those sticks and put them in there and decorate that.
I would decorate some, it would feel strange not to. ?Last year I was not in the mood so I ended up making a simple paper chain to wrap around the christmas tree instead of pulling out all the decorations. ?It was simple & quick!?
