Out of towner looking for Boston present idea...
My mom wants to buy my sister a membership to a kid-friendly place in Boston and I was wondering if you guys had some suggestions. My mom bought the zoo membership last year, but my sister thought the zoo was a little small and not too interesting, so what is a good place for my mom to buy an annual membership this year? My sister and her DH only have one child and his is only 1 1/2 years old.
Children's museum? Local family farm/reserve? Botanic Gardens? Art museum?

i would suggest the Children's museum. there is always a lot to do and they have great programs for kids.
I think the Childrens Museum is going to be your best bet
