Help me pick my birthday dinner!
Hey Ladies!
My birthday is next Tuesday and we're going to see White Christmas at the Aronoff. We're going to get dinner at one of the surrounding restaurants beforehand, but I can't choose. All 3 of our choices sound great, so help me out!
Trattoria Roma
Nada
or Jeff Ruby's???

Re: Help me pick my birthday dinner!
Ha! We have the same birthday! I need to pick my birthday dinner location, too!
Of those three I'd probably choose Nada.

Sounds like a great night! I have never been to any but Jeff Ruby's but i want to try the other 2 now!!! I went to a little hole in the wall with my parents for a late lunch since the hubby had work then class. But we did go to Cracker Barrel later so he could get dinner and I found out you get free dessert there and then we went to Graters where you can get free ice cream.
You will have to let us know where you pick and how it was! Have a great birthday!
Oooh, they all sound good but I would go with Nada!
make reservations soon though!
We celebrated our anniversary at Nada- we loved it. It was hip, contemporary, and the cuisine was different but delicious!
I like Jeff Ruby's, but I liked the vibe at Nada more.
Never been to Trattoria Roma...
Happy (early) birthday!
Those are all very different places. I would say it depends on what you want.
Roma is not my favorite spot, but if you love it you better go now. They will be moving with in the year.
Nada is loud and trendy, but really good decently priced food. Alcohol prices are through the roof.
If you want a good steak I would choose the Precinct over the one downtown. The entrees come with sides instead of it being 100% a la cart. They both have very similar crowds.
Currently I am a huge fan of the Palace. If you have never been you should add it to your list of places to go.
ETA: I didn't read the play thing until after i wrote this
I vote Nada of the 3 you listed.
Other nearby restaurants that I'd consider (no particular order): Via Vite, Palamino's, Boi Noi Braza.

I saw White Christmas last week...very kitschy and cute. We had dinner at Orchids @ Palm Court. Excellent dinner. What about Bootsy Ruby's? Very cool, different and across the street from the Aronoff.
I don't really like Trattoria Roma. Nada is chic. I've eaten there twice and I don't love it, although some people really enjoy it. Enjoy the show & happy birthday.
