 Work has been pretty stressful for my DH lately, and I can already tell that today isn't going to be a good day for him. I want to do something nice for him tonight to make him feel better and  to take his mind off of work. Any ideas?!? TIA

    I was told by someone that today is "steak and bj day" apparently it's supposed to be the male answer to valentines day.   We're not celebrating because I have a dance rehersal tonight that I have to go to.

    Hmmmm - maybe going to a movie that he's been wanting to see? You could also always make a favorite dinner and rent one an action movie or something. I know my DH always likes action or fast movies when he's mad since he can yell at the movie. lol

    Does he have a favorite TV show that makes him laugh? I know when my DH has a bad day, watching a few episodes of Scrubs or The Office always cheers him up. You could buy him a whole season of episodes, make him comfy with his fav snacks and beverages in arms reach and just let him chill for the night.

    I am not sure what part of town you are in, but you could take him somewhere fun/nice for drinks.  Barcelona, german village, is having a special event tonight.  Wine tasting and jazz I think.  Smith and Wollenskys, easton, has a piano player in their bar area on the weekends--we love that!  They also have a great desert menu and drink/wine list.  There is an art show in either  the short north or grandview (I need to find out b/c DH wants to go).  It is called C-Note b/c all the pieces are $100 or less and all the artists are local.  Some of the art is on the web site.  It looks really cool!
    And, if all else fails, it is Steak and BJ day :)

    Thanks for the ideas! I think I will take him to a Japanese steakhouse and see what he feels like doing after that! He will probably just want to play HALO...but if that helps make him feel better thats cool. I would like to do that art show but that might bore him to death... Thanks again ladies!
